Our good friends at ScreenPicks.com put together a post for any Harry Potter lover, examining the current careers of all the Harry Potter stars. Here’s an excerpt from Dan Schindel’s piece:
This weekend, The Perks of Being a Wallflower opens. The film is notable as Emma Watson’s first leading role since the end of Harry Potter last year. The eight-film series of magic and adolescence featured a good chunk of Britain’s most notable actors. Let’s take a look at what some of them have been up to since the Hogwarts Express pulled into Platform 9 3/4 for good. For brevity’s sake, only those who have done some high-profile work are included.
Daniel RadcliffeHarry Potter himself starred in The Woman in Black earlier this year. He’s been working to avoid being typecast for a while now, such as his infamous nudity-involving stint on stage in Equus. Next year, he plays Allan Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings, presumably continuing these efforts. We’ll see if he’s successful.
