Emma Watson, the co-star of the Harry Potter franchise, reportedly has a sizable collection of Bibles, courtesy of fans looking to save the young actress’ soul. According to The Sun, Watson began receiving the books after the series came under fire from numerous religious groups who openly condemned the books and the movies. As a result, Watson now has over 20 Bibles in her collection.
“Finding our Harry Potter films un-Christian, people think I need to be guided and send me The Bible. I now have a collection of 20,” she explained.…
Watson, meanwhile, is attempting to separate herself from the character she portrayed in the Harry Potter series. In addition to starring in the highly-anticipated film The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Watson will take part in director Darren Aronofsky’s biblical epic Noah.
If nothing else, at least Emma Watson has plenty of Bibles to use for research.
