How To Read

All of us started our Potter-mania in a different way. Here’s my story:

I’ve been reading since the age of 3, but I didn’t really start reading anything bigger than my mom’s Hans Christen Andersen’s Fairy Tales book until the age of 7. My parents share my love for books, and I picked up our copy Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets book that they had left lying around one day, and I just started reading. My father found me stuck halfway through the first chapter, frustrated and crying because I didn’t know what was going on. He, kind man that he is, rented a set of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone (read by Jim Dale- BEAST!) tapes from our library for me and sat me down with our cassette player in my room. I didn’t come out until I had finished them.

  1. Totally…I get really sleepy when I read sometimes LOLZ. Jim Dale’s voice is definitely beast!!! speaking of which, I heard he’s doing like an audiobook iPad app, “Beastly ABC” (pun intended). CANNOT wait to hear his voice again, check it here http://kck.st/JvTmvR
